Speech Style According to Martin Joos (1976:156) speech style “means the form of language that the speaker uses which characterized by the degree of formality. He identified the styles in five classes frozen style, formal style, consultative style, casual style, and intimate style.” This is known as the Speech Style of a Person.

What is an Informative Speech Style
The main types of Informative Speech Style include “definition, descriptive, explanatory, and demonstrative. A definition speech explains the meaning, theory, or philosophy of a specific topic that the audience likely does not know much about. A demonstration speech explains how to do something.”
What is Persuasive Speech Style
A Persuasive Speech Style is a specific type of speech in which the speaker has the goal of convincing the audience to accept his or her point of view. The speech is arranged in such a way as to hopefully cause the audience to accept all or part of the expressed view.

What is Special Occasion Speech Style
There are eight common forms of Special Occasion Speech Style: introduction, presentation, acceptance, dedication, toast, roast, eulogy, and farewell. Speeches of introduction are designed to introduce a speaker. Toasts are given to acknowledge and honor someone on a special occasion (e.g., wedding, birthday, retirement).
